Vice President, Strategic Insights
Marianne Vita serves as Vice President, Strategic Insights for the Video Advertising Bureau (VAB). Vita joined the VAB in May 2017 with nearly 20 years of experience on the media agency side, partnering with clients across retail, consumer packaged goods, technology and beauty categories. Most recently, Vita ran the Communications Planning team for the Dell business at MediaCom, overseeing the Small Business and Consumer segments, as well as leading Dell’s entry into the Gaming category.
Prior to her work on Dell, Vita served as VP, Group Director on the Coca-Cola business at MediaVest. In this role, she led consumer insights, brand portfolio management, and media strategy development and implementation across 13 brands. While at MediaVest, Vita also assumed the role of VP, Strategy Director on the Heineken USA business, leading media plan development across the portfolio of brands, including the national launch of the successful Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man” campaign. Prior to Heineken, Vita worked on the Kraft business, developing media plans across 6 Nabisco brands.
Vita began her career with an eight-year stint at Universal McCann, where she enjoyed increasing responsibility culminating in her appointment to VP, Associate Media Director. During this time, she worked across a variety of businesses, including Lowe’s Home Improvement, Maytag Corporation, and L’Oreal Paris.
Vita was a recipient of the Universal McCann Truth Well Told Award. Additionally, she led the Dell Leadership Development training program at MediaCom, and completed several levels of senior training on management skills, team leadership, and storytelling. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Barnard College of Columbia University. Marianne resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
